For the past 8 years, The Micheli Center has collaborated with Boston Children’s Hospital’s Optimal Wellness for Life (OWL) Program to provide their patients with the necessary tools, information, and confidence to feel comfortable and excel in the gym. The OWL Program is a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to improving the health and well-being of children with insulin resistance and other weight-related health complications. The OWL team offers specialized care plans tailored to each patient family’s medical, nutritional, social, physical, and emotional needs.
