Using Medical and Sports Science for Injury Prevention in Sports: The Throwing Athlete

The Micheli Center and New England Sports Partners are proud to present a seminar for injury prevention in the throwing athlete. Speakers will include Dr. William Meehan, Mike Reinold PT, DPT, SCS, ATC, CSCS former head Athletic Trainer and Physical Therapist for the Boston Red Sox, Eric Cressey, President and co-founder of Cressey Performance, Dan India of Qualisys, and Dr. Tom House, found of the Rod Dedeaux Research and Baseball Institute and the National Pitching Association. Topics to be covered include “The Evolution of Sports Injuries and Injury Prevention”, “5 Common Baseball Strength and Conditioning Mistakes” and “The Research of 3D Motion Analysis… It’s More than Mechanics”, plus more. Lunch will also be provided.

This event will be at 320 Longwood Avenue, Boston MA in the Folkman Auditorium. Public parking is available nearby, please do not park in the Boston Children’s Hospital Garage.
