Hunter joins The Micheli Center following his upbringing in central and western New York. Hunter graduated from SUNY Brockport with his bachelor's degree in exercise science before attending the University at Buffalo where he received his master’s degree in athletic training. He is a BOC certified athletic trainer, licensed in the state of Massachusetts, as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. Hunter has worked with a broad patient population including the varsity athletics of Canisius High School and Erie Community College, along with providing athletic training services for the Buffalo Bills and University at Buffalo football teams. He believes heavily in evidence-based practices and active rehabilitation and uses these ideas when designing his patients’ exercise programs. In his free time, Hunter enjoys working out, listening to music, cooking, and exploring the great outdoors.
