3D THROWING ANALYSIS

Service Description

This comprehensive evaluation consists of two visits. The first visit is 1.5 hours and begins with a clinical and functional assessment of the throwers’ strength and flexibility. Reflective markers will then be placed all over the body’s bony landmarks for our 3D motion capture system. After a proper warm-up, a 3D analysis is then performed on the throwing mechanics. The second visit is one hour and occurs 1-2 weeks later after the data has been analyzed. During this session, findings of the 3D analysis are discussed along with recommendations for changes to throwing mechanics, strength, and flexibility to reduce the overall risk of injury.
