MENTAL SKILLS TRAINING
Any athlete who is looking to get the most out of their performance; struggling with anxiety or pressure; or working through or coming back from an injury.
In addition to being physically prepared, it is important that athletes are equipped with the right tools to handle the mental stresses that can come with playing sports or being injured. Clients can work on these skills with our Performance Enhancement & Rehabilitation Specialist (PERS), Kelsey Griffith, MS.
During individual sessions, athletes will be coached on their mental skills as a means to maximize performance and/or cope with any rehabilitative processes they may be experiencing. Kelsey's goal is to help athletes of all ages learn to navigate the maze of challenges associated with sport -- such as confidence, motivation, self-talk, goal setting, anxiety & arousal control -- to better reach self-determined goals and perform optimally in all performance arenas.
