Felix Wang is The Micheli Center’s lead software developer. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has been developing web applications for small businesses as well as end-users since 2003. He has always had a passion for sports and enjoys the statistical and scientific aspects behind them as well.
SIPRx, the first program he developed for The Micheli Center, provides our physicians with a tool to help them anticipate an individual client’s most likely injuries before they happen. By combining historical data with information provided by a trainee, then factoring in the measurements taken at The Micheli Center, the program promptly allows the physician to view the most likely injuries that trainee may endure in the course of participating in their sport, and then decide on the best prescription to prevent those injuries from occurring.
