Ariel Fay Carr (formerly Gagnon) received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). As a young athlete, Ariel trained in Canada as a competitive figure skater. She competed at a national and international level in Pairs, all while still attending high school. She has earned herself countless medals and multiple awards throughout the years, including several sectional medals and awards for the single and pair skater of the year for her region.

Ariel has also ventured out in different sports, including tae kwon do, soccer, cheerleading, and bodybuilding. She is currently a certified Learn to Skate and US Figure Skating coach and has been working with figure skaters for the past 9 years. She is also a certified strength and conditioning coach (CFSC) in level 1 and 2, a functional range conditioning movement specialist and certified in FMS. Ariel has experience working with a variety of ages and levels of skaters and non-skaters.
